Job Specifications

Reporting to the Officer-In-Charge of Central Registry, the job holder will be responsible for the following:

  1. Capturing data on receipt transactions
  2. Receiving and verifying the warehouse receipt transactions for conformity;
  3. Receiving and verifying requests for approval of replacement of warehouse receipts;
  4. Implement procedures and work plans of the Central registry;
  5. Verifying the security features of the warehouse receipt for conformity;
  6. Verifying the completeness and conformity of the warehouse receipt to the set standards; and
  7. Receiving and consolidating queries on registered warehouse receipt transactions.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

  1. Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: - Information Science, Management Information Science, Library/ Records Management, Business Information Technology, Information management, Archives and Records Management, or a relevant degree from a recognized institution;
  2. Proficiency in computer applications; and
  3. Met the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.
