The Warehouse Receipt System Council (WRSC) wishes to alert members of the public, particularly candidates who recently participated in recruitment interviews, of fraudulent activities by individuals falsely claiming to influence recruitment outcomes. WRSC has received reports that unauthorized persons are contacting applicants and demanding money or other favors in exchange for employment opportunities.

The Council wishes to clarify that:

1. –WRSC does not request, solicit, or accept any payment, gift, or favor at any stage of the recruitment process.
2. –No individual, agent, or third party has been authorized to offer employment or influence recruitment decisions on behalf of WRSC.
3. –All official recruitment communications are issued only through official WRSC channels, including email addresses ending with @wrsc.go.ke and formal written correspondence

Applicants and members of the public are advised not to make any payments or provide any favors in response to such requests.

Any suspicious communication should be reported immediately through the Council’s official contact channels and to the relevant law enforcement authorities.

WRSC remains committed to a transparent, fair, and merit-based recruitment process.
