The Warehouse Receipt System Council, in partnership with the Eastern Africa Grain Council (EAGC), has convened the Regional Structured Trading Systems Policy, Market Integration, Peer Learning and Exchange Forum from 28th – 30th October, 2026 in Nairobi.
The forum aims to promote harmonized standards, strengthen commodity markets, enhance cross-border trade and advance regional food security under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Discussions will focus on warehouse accreditation, regulatory alignment, digital trading systems, access to agricultural finance and regional market integration. The forum will also provide a platform for policy dialogue, peer learning and strategic partnerships to advance structured commodity trade across Africa.
