Capacity Building of the Council’s Integrity Assurance Officers
The Council’s Integrity Assurance Officers (IAOs) joined other institutions to participate in the mandatory five-day training in Morendat-Naivasha conducted by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
The appointed Integrity Assurance Officers were equipped with knowledge to understand their role in executing their mandate of bribery and corruption prevention and eradication at Warehouse Receipt System Council.
The training aimed at building capacity of the participants to;
Implement capacity-building programmes on bribery and corruption prevention within their institutions.
Develop and implement institutional bribery and anti-corruption framework.
Develop and/or align bribery and anti-corruption policies with the existing laws.
Establish institutional bribery and corruption reporting mechanisms.
Undertake institutional bribery and corruption risk assessment.
Create internal and external linkages on corruption prevention.
Monitor, evaluate and report on implementation of the established anti-bribery and anti-corruption initiatives.
